Working Together To Eliminate Youth

Homelessness and Spread Hope

Enough is Enough Fdn Corp is a Florida

501c3 Nonprofit Organization

The idea for Enough is Enough was officially conceived in 2021, while researching the topic of youth homelessness for a college english research project. This research led me to shocking statistics and facts that I could not imagine to be true. After the project, I continued to research and committed myself too making a difference for this vulnerable population. I decided I needed to start within my local community. On my 18th birthday, I started the paperwork to make Enough is Enough Foundation Corp. a Florida Non-Profit 501c3 Organization. In addition I used my platform as Miss Port Orange Teen USA 2023 to promote my vision and spread the word to individuals that would have never heard of my organization.

As promised, I will. make a difference for these children and young adults. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Together let’s eliminate youth homelessness!

About Us

OUR VISION

The crisis of youth homelessness is a nation-wide problem that is not getting better. Starting at a local level, Enough is Enough will continue to work throughout the community to provide HOPE, but also work to network with other visionaries focusing on eliminating youth homelessness in Florida.

OUR PROJECTS

Our first project was to help the children that lost their special toy during Hurricane Ian. The hurricane led to many displaced and homeless families in our community and we wanted to provide a ray of hope to the children who were caught in the storm

PRoject Help

Printing and distribution of booklets providing available resources to homeless youth in Central Florida

urgent stamp

Enough is Enough is currently working on completing design and printing of a pocket sized resource guide that will be distributed throughout Central Florida targeted to locations homeless and unhoused youth may frequent. Our hope is that this passport sized booklet will remain with the youth and used as a tool to find food, shelter and help. Critical contact information for shelter, food, clothing, medical and mental help, education and social services are listed for the Central Florida Counties of Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia. Upon completion of the Central Florida edition, we would like to further our reach and produce and distribute a resource guide for other counties throughout the entire state. Unfortunately, we soon will be at a hold with this project, as funds for printing are desperately needed. If you can please make a donation to Enough is Enough Foundation, your donation will go to the printing costs needed to print 1000 booklets to be distributed throughout the seven counties. We truly hope this resource guide will help homeless youth in our community receive help, assistance and be a tool to guide them out of their current living situation.

Back To School Supply Drive

Enough is Enough 2nd annual Back to School Supply Drive was an amazing success! With the help of our Event Sponsor, Tomoka Eye Associates, and secondary sponsors Rusty Spur Boutique, TLC Kids Care, A Hair Affair and other community donations of school supplies, we were able to fill and distribute 100 backpacks filled with school supplies.

Our Back To School Bash for the families that registered to receive school supplies, was held on Saturday, August 3rd at the Ormond Beach location of Tomoka Eye. The children were able to pick up their filled backpacks, enjoy refreshments, select some new and slightly used clothing, and get their faces painted. The children were also given free back to school haircut coupons from A Hair Affair in Daytona Beach Shores.

The families that could not make it to the event or registered after the event, were able to pick up their backpacks at a later time. For those without transportation or with schedule conflicts, we had the pleasure to drop off the backpacks to them.

Getting out in the community is such a rewarding experience. Meeting some old and new faces and really learning what challenges these parents are facing is so eyeopening. These challenges rekindle our drive to help families in need and try to find new ways to make things better. There is a lot of work to be done in our area, especially for the homeless families and those on the brink of homelessness. We are grateful that we were able to bring a little help and hope to the families and children that participated.
